Our Story

CJH Electrical was founded by Colin Hebert, a Master Electrician who spent years managing large-scale commercial projects before deciding to return to his roots—and to the kinds of homes that always fascinated him. With a lifelong love for history and a talent for complex problem-solving, Colin created CJH Electrical to serve a very specific purpose: preserving New England's architectural heritage while upgrading its electrical systems for the future.

From the beginning, this wasn’t just a business. It was a mission.

Meet the Heberts: A Father-Son Team

Colin’s first apprentice was his own father, Carl “CJ” Hebert. A retired U.S. Army medic and former vocational counselor at the VA, CJ had always admired hands-on trades. With a family history that includes telephone linework for Ma Bell in the 1960s, joining the electrical field felt like coming full circle.

Now, this father-son team works side by side on jobsites throughout New Hampshire, Maine, and Massachusetts, combining technical skill with care and respect for their clients' homes.
